    What can I do
    Hey I'm julie and I was on depo for about 6 months and I got off it in November 07 and I want to get pregnant is there any faster way to help what the depo shot did to me go away.. I heard if you drink lots of water and stuff is that true

    It may take several months for your menstrual cycle to go back to normal, and for you to begin ovulating may take 3-6 months or longer. As you know you need to be ovulating to become pregnant. I've read that it can take 6-12 months for your cycle to return to normal after stopping Depo-Provera and the average woman gets pregnant within 2 years.

    As for drinking more water - I'm certain that is a tall tale. Water will not bring on ovulation but it will keep you from being dehydrated! So drink up for your health, not for your baby.
