Ok so if you've read my other posts you know by now that my girlfriend has moved. Her mom got remarried and her step-dad lives in Virginia so she moved there. Now while she was here her mom didn't care about us dating, but now that she moved she doesn't want her to date me anymore. Her mom thinks we broke up when she moved, this was so she wouldn't be upset and give my girlfriend a tough time about it. My girlfriend really doesn't like lyin to her mom and I don't want her to be unhappy, so does anyone have any advice about what I could tell her to do about this?

Every parent will have an opinion, some will agree some will disagree.
I say, keep dating her. Sometimes we have to lie, it's all part of life. If you really care for her, don't loose her!

Her mom doesn't want you to date her so as long as you are only communicating long distance you don't have to call it dating technically. If she comes to visit you though it would be another issue though. Her mother would know something was up and then your girlfriend would have to deal with it.

That's why when she gets her license in 2 months when she comes down here she has to tell her mom that she is only coming down here to visit her old friends that are girls. And technically we are dating, we talk all the time, she doesn't kiss other guys we say I love you we want to be together, we are very much dating it's just her mom can't know and she hates lying to her mom, they're like bestfriends
