If you own an air bed, would you please answer some questions.
1. Does it hurt your back or some other parts when you sleep on it daily?
2. If you have a cat, does it scratch it!

Air bed.
Funny story, we moved into a old, very old two story house, bedrooms were all upstairs, our regular queen size bed would not fit up the old stairway. Even taking boards off, could not get it up to the bed room.
Well we went out and bought a cheap air bed. We used it for almost a year.
As long as we keep it firm, it would lose air every few days ( again this was a cheaper one) but it sleep wonderful. In some ways I almost miss it.
As for as the cat, they sell patch kits, you will need it if the cat has claws.
Declaw the cat or don't do the air bed.
I have begged my husband for one but he always says no, with all the animals we have it would pop, how good do they hold up?
Every air bed I ever slept on lost air throughout the night. It hurt my back in the morning due to the discomfort of the lost air. Lots of people I know have good sleep w/ them.
Slept on one for 2 nights over the holidays when I went to vist the folks. Any way this one didn't lose any air in the middle of then night, but my back sweated all night, so I kicked the blankets off then I froze, I think that because air couldn't get between me and bed was the prob. Second night I tried mutltiple layers of sheets and it was a little better.
In my dads words "it was better than the floor wasnt it?" I guess he said it the best
Yes, neck and shoulders stiff and sore.
No cat, but I have one of those puncture resistant ones. It cost 80 or more dollars.
