    Chemical balancing
I think I have the equation right but I can't get it balanced. The equation is
HNO3+H2O+Cu(II)=Cu(NO3)2+NO+H2O. The original was dilute nitric acid, copper metal dissolves to form aqueous cupric nitrate, nitrogen monoxide gas, and water. Can someone set me in the right direction?

You don't need to include the water on the left hand side of the equation

    Balance this equation instead

    Cu(s) + HNO3(aq) ——> Cu(NO3)2(aq) + NO(g) + H2O(l)
