    Pregnancy chances at 35?
I am 35 and healthy. What are my chances of getting pregnant? Most of the preliminary level tests are OK.I am trying to conceive for 4 months.

Its hard to say specific to your own health (and that of your partners). However, each cycle only has about a 25% chance of concieving.

Four months isn't really long at all. Couples can average up to 1 year of trying before a doctor will step in to help. When a woman is over the age of 35, her chances *may* be slimmer, but I don't believe you should worry until a doctor determines if that's the case for YOU and you alone.

    Good luck!

Assuming you have already determined when you are most likely ovulating, your doctor may suggest further testing (for both you and your husband) once you have been trying for 6 months.

As LearningAsIGo said, it is not uncommon for it to take a year or so for many couples. At 35 however, some doctors will take a more aggressive approach and start the testing sooner than they would otherwise as that becomes somewhat of a cutoff age. In general, fertility starts a slow decline in the 30's (for some women even in the late 20's), and picks up a downward trend in the late 30's/early 40's.
