    Cat paws
    Hi, I am writing about I noticed on my sister's cat there was a little black spot on it's paw, what is it plus it not on any other paws

    Many animals have black spots it is just the way their skin coloring is.
    Some dogs like chows have black tongues even.

    This is very true, also, also could just be dirt! I got worried once where there was a dot on my baby girls white paw, then realized it was just mud. Most situations it is the skin colouring.

    Assuming it's not one of the first two things mentioned, it might be a tick. They like to get in between the toes on cats and dogs.

    But really, "a black spot" is not a highly descriptive term.

    Could they get sores on their feet, you know like calluses (but I'm not saying because I have no idea what it could be.)

    Yeah but I think calluses are usually more brown.
    I didn't think of tick because as it not being descriptive I pictured the bigger black spots on my pets.
    I guess if the black spot is rough it could be a callus or a scab.l
