    I-751 pending
Hi, I divorced my wife before completing the two years of conditional residence. I was called for an interview where I brought all the documents to prove that my marriage was real. The interviewer was really nasty and treated me as a criminal and at the end she told me that I needed to bring more evidence, I asked what exactly she wanted and she said that I was going to receive a letter with that information. That interview was almost a year ago and I have not received anything, I went back after six months and my case is still pending. Does anyone knows why this is happening? If they consider that my marriage was not real, what are they waiting for to reject my application or at least send me the letter asking for more evidence?

    Thanks

You should submit a copy all the documents again, including evidences of your relationship, how it ended, is there domestic abuse involved? Any police report? Plus you need to provide evidences that you entered the marriage in good faith.

If you and your spouse just could not get along, I suggest you consult an experienced immigration lawyer. You may need to prove hardship.

Don't waste your time... the sooner the better. Good luck.

Hi did you hear from immigration about your case? I had an interview in June 2008 but have not heard yet, This was for a 751 waiver.

Its been a year now, I recommend you file a status inquiry. Each district office has different procedures.
