I have a 20hp twin briggs ,that when running spits out large amounts of fuel out of carb.float seems to be moving freely.was told could be carbon on valves,but would like another opinion before I taer down.thank-you

Yes it could be excessive carbon buildup not allowing the valves to seat properly, allowing back pressure through the carb.
