You may just have to buy the real gold or platinum earrings, since it seems you are so sensitive to the "cheap stuff." You only require the best of the best! :)

Have you tried hypo allergenic earrings?

I have the same problem. Unfortunately, the only solution I have found is the real deal. I can only wear 18k gold or platinum. I have a nickel allergy and even 14k is a problem. My suggestion to you is pool all of the money you would have spent on assorted costume earrings, buy a simple pair of gold, versatile earrings and later splurge on a whole bunch of fabulous necklaces!!

As a designer in jewellery I suggest 18 k white gold or platinum is a right deal for your problem.

Surgical Steel is another good material.
