l110 John Deere lawn tractor blowing fuses
Could it be a voltage regulator? Or some other electrical problem. Has a new battery.

Does it blow fuses when starting the engine, or when moving, or when?

Thank you for the response. It starts fine, and then blows fuses after mowing for about 30 yards.

My sons have checked current through several wires, and it is drawing about 6-18 amps through the wires going to the stator.

It only does this when the voltage regulator is mounted and therefore grounded. We replaced the voltage regulator but it is still doing the same thing.

    Thanks again for the help!
