    Garage door misalignment
When I lower my garage door (we do not have a garage door opener), it is misaligned when it is fully lower. We can tell this, because you can see about a 1-1/2 to 2 inch white paint line on the right side of the door, instead of the entire door only showing the tan color the door is painted. I can not figure out what is causing this as the side brackets where the rollers roll up and down, seem solid and have not moved. Help? Thanks

If it was my door. #1... I would Look At The "SPRINGS" T(and Cables) hat help Lift the Door. Look At Them "When The Door Is CLOSED, and See If There About EVEN? AND... Look at Them closely- With The DOOR OPEN- to See "If They Sag" or "Are About Even?? If that Looks OK, Lift The Door about 2 inches, and SEE If It's the DOOR or The FLOOR? Hope This Helps?

Thank you for your answer. I don't think it is the floor, as it is cement and the door has been fine for the first 7 years we have lived here. (new house then). I will check the springs. If that isn't it, any other ideas? Thanks

I would agree with caryb... it is either the springs or you have a slipped cable.
