Guys.. what does this mean? I didn't contact him for 2 weeks then received this email.


This is a bad idea to write to you, but I want you to know where I stand. I am NOT over you, but we both know the way I've been treating you has been wrong of late. And I don't know why I have those on and off feelings. But the fact is I do have them. So it's true I'm not over you, but I want to be. And you should want to get over me as well so we can both move on with our lives happy with the experiences we've had together, not angry at the current situation. I want you to enjoy life to the fullest because you're insanely beautiful(naturally), and you are in for a very big year and need no distractions.

Basically he's telling you he's been treating you badly and to move on and get over him and just remember the good times and not the bad one at the moment

It means what it says,I don't think theirs any hidden message to be honest with you

He is giving you closure, and you should take it, and do what he suggests, move on, because he is.

It sounds annoying to me. Screams of drama queen. "I love you and you love me, but its over, think of the great things we did". Sounds like a lie. If you love someone, why wouldn't you fight to be with them? He loves you but not in love with you. You should move on, but it will be hard with annoying messages like these to stab at your heart.

I'm sure that letter has changed since I first looked at it or is it just me??

I'm going to say it's a bit dramatic. Or maybe it's just my perspective this morning.

You said you did no contact for two weeks... yet he has to write you to tell you it's over? Um... duh Captain McObvious. Talk about rubbing it in your face. I mean seriously, didn't he state what was in the letter during the breakup? Why rehash? Because I think he's just a little ticked off that you went no contact, and he had to get one last dig in. "Oh I miss you, but blah blah blah. Na-na You can't have me. Don't write me back." W.T.F?

Hahahahaha, that's what I'm saying!! He seems more upset right now? Well I told him last night in a email I'm moving in 5 days ( we live across the hall from each other). He is acting like SUCH AN ! I don't understand why... he left me, so the best thing for us is for me to move to another condo... Now he's being mean. :(

Yeah, I would definitely go back to no contact. I wouldn't bother emailing him anymore, just move out and have a kick a$$ going away party without him.

But why is he acting so retarded? He was the one that left me, so I'm moving out! He doesn't know what the hell he wants, and know making me feel guilty that I am trying to move on.

It's a control thing. Sort of. Some of them like to have their claws in you. The thing is to not let them have that power over you at all and ignore them.

I think its more your reaction, than his action to be honest.

My reaction? Well the only way for me to move on is to move OUT asap. I can't handle this drama anymore, the rollercoaster right is draining me. So he wanted to not be in this relationship, therefore Im out. How is that wrong?

Why give him the satisfaction of letting him know you cared? Now disappearing would have been cool. Let him wonder. I know, sometimes I can be very vindictive. Sorry.

The whole point is that going no contact is all about actions. You don't need to give him a play by play. That means no more emails, no nothing. This way you aren't available for him to play games with. You are removing yourself from it and from the drama.

Thanks guys... I will do that. I guess telling him I was moving was not that great of a idea. Oh well, all said and done, I am moving and very excited to start fresh... maybe this will have him wonder and realize how he really feels. ( he doesn't know where I'm moving too, which is the good thing :)
