    Computer start up
I have too many processes going on when I start up my computer and this causes it to be slow. How can I remove these processes safely? Thanks

If you are using XP, use the System Configuration Utility also known as msconfig

To disable programs from automatically loading, follow the below instructions.

Click Start / Run / Type msconfig and press enter.

This will open the "System Configuration Utility" window.

Within this window click the "Startup", uncheck each of the startup tasks you no longer wish to load. If you are uncertain what startup programs are causing your issues, try un-checking all of the items and then slowly start checking each of the items until you determine the source of your issue.

On the other hand, if you are running Vista, and you get tired of the annoying pop up that keeps telling you that windows has blocked the programs that YOU told it to, let me know cause I just found out how to make that thing quit popping up.
