Hi I needed to know if a person is on nys dissablity does he still have to pay chils support

Check with the Social Security office about applying for them or adding them to your disability. Not exactly sure how they do it. My kids got some money from Social Security through their dads disability and he claims it did not effect his amount.

The children should be eligible for SSI or some sort of benefit from Social Security. NOhelp4u is correct about contacting your Social Security office for information. If he can't work or provide his own income, then I do not believe that he can directly be held responsible for child support, but it may depend on the laws in your state or the variables in your case.
