    Self-Select PIN for e-file
Is the self-select PIN available for those who are eligible to file 1040 this year but filed 1040NR last year?

Last year I filed 1040NR-EZ and this year I am supposed to file 1040-EZ. I know my Adjust Gross Income (AGI). I am using Turbo Tax and I am not finding an option for 1040NR from last year as an option.

A document on the IRS website seems to say that I cannot use the PIN this year, but it is ambiguous:
http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p3452.pdf (pdf file, search for 1040-NR and it will take you the statement.)

But on the Turbo Tax website they say and I quote:
"Taxpayers who filed 1040NR for tax year 2006, who are eligible to file Form 1040 in tax year 2007"

Can someone tell me what the facts are regarding this? Or should I file a paper return?

    Thanks in advance.

If you use the self-select PIN option, you must know what your AGI from 2006 was, as well as your date of birth.
