How do I insert text into a scanned document?
I would like to know how I can insert text in a scanned document.

I have a form I would like to use as a template and be able to fill it in.

    Thanks, DannybGood:confused:

Depends on what format the document is in. I'm assuming that if it's a form, it would be in as a pdf using adobe acrobat, right?

    If that's the case,

Just a quick point here, there are several methods to scan and save a document. I really depends on what you have available to you.

For example, are you going to scan the document into a usable document?

Bare in mind, that Acobat Reader (free version) cannot provide the same services that the full version can. Also, if the document is simple enough that you can re-create the document into Word and use it as a template or a macro would open up a lot more viewers for document exchange, that also might be a option for you.

I'm not too experienced in this area of scanning but some printers/scanners/all-in-ones/ etc have software that will save the scan as a word document instead of an image. I have a lexmark all in one and it allows me to scan documents into Microsoft word or acrobat pdf. So I think there is some kind of software pne the web that will convert the scanned document into word documents.
