My Life is currently falling apart, I am in a 10 year relationship, with a person who I dislike but won't let me go, who treats me badly, I know we have nothing left between us, but he refuses to leave me another would change that,He has no plans for the future, he gambles & does all things that are irresponsible.

I am currently trying to create a career, no job and no finance left, life does not seem worth living anymore, is there any hope, please be honest, I need to know if there is any happiness destined for me, please someone answer this sincerely.its my only hope.

I would just like to aske you something? Why do you think you get so jealous, what do you think are the underlying feelings and were does it come from, is it a past experince? I am glad you are going for therapy and doing what needs to be done, but the if you cannot answer the questions to yourself it won't matter, you need to look deep within yourself and find out why your instant reaction when you see her with other people makes you jelous.

Only, when you find the cause, can you begin to grow, and once you know, you can explain all this to her,and try again.

Know what? You and I are in the same boat!? I've been in this horrible relationship for 5 years. Everyday it gets worse. I am at the point where looking at him makes me sick. I loathe him. He used to be a good guy, then he lost his job, started doing drugs, then moved his 13 year old boy in with us and this kid is just worthless as he is.
Everything that was worth anything is missing. All my kids jewelry, video games, clothes. I've been trying to get him out of my house for 3 yrs. With no luck.
I've called the police when he tears my house apart and breaks everything and they don't do anything but make him leave for a couple hours.
I can not get a restraining order/no contact order against him because he has not hit me or my kids.
But, you can legally evict him from your home. I finally stepped up to the plat and started doing something about it.
He has down talked me to the point that I feel like I'm nothing, and that's how I present myself, I'm tired of it!!
You need to say the same thing. AND MEAN IT!!
There has got to be a Women's Safety and Resource Center there that will help you.

To be happy you must take responsibility for it, by doing what makes you happy, and that includes changing the people, places and things that hold you from being happy. Health and Human Resources and family services, in your area can refer you to the right people, to get you away from this fellow, and show you the path to being independent from him. Take advantage of those resources, to get you started, and get him out of your life. You didn't mention kids, so I won't assume they are in the picture, but the courts can help their to if they are in this mess with you, but your still young, and can turn this around. Not easy, but it will be of great benefit to you, as schooling to get skills is also a good option, and there is all kinds of programs, and financial aid, to help you build a life without him. You must love yourself, and be committed to yourself, and your future, and be proactive in seeking your own happiness. If you have family, or friends, they can be a big help also. Don't ever give up on yourself, and I wish you luck.
