    Can you use at&t wi-fi for you macbook.
    I just want to make sure if you have to get a special wi-fi from apple or can you use any other wi-fi like at&t.:) :p :cool:

    AT&T doesn't do WiFi. WiFi is done through 802.11 based ethernet routers. MACs are fully Ethernet compatible. So any 802.11 compliant router will allow it to connect.

    What At&T does is wireless broadband. This is different from WiFi in that it doesn't require a "hotspot". Since there are Wireless broadband adapters that can use a USB connection, they should work with MACs.
