    Dogs and mice!
    Just curious... if a dog that has had is rabies shots were to get bit by a mouse.. say who has rabies.. will the dog get rabies??

    If your dogs shots are up to date then he should be protected from the rabies virus. If you are concerned then you should take the dog to the vet to get him checked out.

    What makes you think the mouse has rabies, was it tested? Not all mice carry disease.

    Well because I have a mouse in my house.. because I live behind a field.. we get them every winter... and we have one now.. but he has his rabie shot but I was just saying if a mouse did have rabies and it bit him would he get rabies

    He shouldn't. That's the entire reason for getting vaccinations. However, nothing is 100% sure, so there is a remote chance that the dog could still get rabies, even if it had been vaccinated. The odds are so remote that I wouldn't worry about it.
