I did something extremely stupid and it was my first time. I did shoplift from a store and they did not charge me but fine me $64 dollars and banned from the mall for a year and the specifc store for a year is that going on my criminal record for the rest of my life as property of theft or did I just receive the fine with it going on my record. Will this affect my G1 when I am ready to take the course, or will this not let me take it at all. I need advice please!:(

Ok, if you did not see the police and if you did not either get a ticket or see a judge you were not "fined" you may have agreed to a civil payment in return to them not pressing charges.

If you paid a ticket to the court or went to court you have a record, if you worked this out with the mall or store officials you have no criminal history.

Now 15 years from now if you run for President, the store record of this will be somewhere, so if someone wants to find out, they can find out, but it will not show up on a standard background search

Ok the police did show up but they did not bring me to the police station. I do live in Ontario,Canada so maybe your American Laws are different then the Canadian Laws. I did not go to court I just received the fine for $65.I am also not allowed to go to that specific mall for a year and the store I was involved with, which they also told me to write a 8 page essay on on how theft may affect my future. Im still asking if this may affect my G1 when I apply to take the course plus the test. Will it also affect my G2 in the near future?

I assume the G1 and G2 are driving tests for getting a driver's license. If so, I think you should call the ministry of transportation, which administers the test and ask them. I would be surprised if shoplifting affected your drivers' license, but I don't know at all.
