    Probation violation in Ohio
    Hi
    My boyfriend has a court date for 4-21. We live in Ohio and he has been in jail 3weeks now for (community sanctions violation- which I'm assuming translates to probation violation. This is his 3rd violation. He is a felon. What type of sentence is he looking at? :(

    What was his original sentence and for what please. The fact he is in jail now waiting for his violation hearing is one thing, but what was he originally sentenced to is the main question here.

    Most likely he will go back and serve the original sentence in prison

    Hello hever:

    The Padre is right on again. After a 3rd violation, I doubt they'll give him another chance at probation. He'll do all his time inside.

    My son was convicted of felony - put on community probation 3/10; 4/11 picked up on mist charges - charges now dismissed however, remains jailed x 7 weeks now on probation violation.

    How is it possible to be in violation of probation when there are NO charges?

    Hello cr:

    One of his conditions was to report ALL police contact. Maybe he didn't do that.

    N0, Arrested & taken into custody that night--> hearing, released by signature --> probation department put hold on him --> remained in custody --> probation hearing found him in violation - mist charges dismissed --> deal EOCC in Wintersville 4-6 months;
