I was required to pay a double security deposit when i moved into my home. I have been here for 15 months now. I was told by an old landlord, that after 1 year, I was entitled to one of the deposits back.

There is no law in Pennsylvania that you even have to pay a security deposit, let alone a double deposit.

Sounds like one of your landlord's provisions - is it double because you have a pet?

Approach the landlord about the return of the second deposit. Is any of this in writing?
