    I'm on a month to month lease and I want to move out on may 1st my landlord told me that I need to give a 60 day notice. I googled the law in Minnesota it said I only need a 30 day notice. What can I do? I ask for a copy of my lease to read it but the latest one my landlord had is dated 3/24/05 so I'm wondering if that lease is still valid? Can anyone help me with this

    While your lease duration as expired... its terms are still in place. Ask the landlord for a copy of your last lease in order to find what it states as far as notice goes.

    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    Yes, except for the rental and term, all the other terms of the lease continue when you go to a month to month basis. So if the lease says 60 days then 60 days it is.
