Does anyone know the long term side effects of this drug. I take it with Lexapro and wondered if it has caused weight gain... If anyone has any feedback that would be great.

The most common Lamictal side effects included:

Dizziness -- in up to 54 percent of people
Double vision -- up to 49 percent
Headaches -- up to 29 percent
Coordination problems -- up to 28 percent
Blurred vision -- up to 25 percent
Nausea -- up to 25 percent
Vomiting -- up to 20 percent.

Less common side effects that may be experienced can include abnormal dreams, allergic reactions, abdominal pain, hot flashes, joint pain, inability to reach orgasm, light-headedness, blurred vision, bronchitis, chest pains, coughing, earache, rash, ringing in the ears, sinus congestion, sinus headache, stomachache, increased appetite, heartburn, hypertension, toothache, changes in weight, yawn, vomiting, vertigo, tremor and problems with urination.

Before taking Lexapro, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have:

Liver or kidney disease;
Seizures or epilepsy;
Bipolar disorder (manic depression); or
A history of drug abuse or suicidal thoughts.

From what I am reading with what I just looked up many people are saying that Lexapro made them gain 7 to 30 pounds
