A day? I'm not really sure, but don't call everyday. Wait a couple days and then call them up and ask if they want to go out to dinner? That sounds reasonable to me.:)
A day or two may be fine.
NEVER! That way she'll be shocked and you know what they say about guys being spontanious right?
Sorry, I'm in a silly mood today. Bust a call 2 to 3 days, although I'd lean towards 2. I like calling at around 9p.m, that way all the shows they watch are over (big brother, housewives, american Idol, they usually mop up around 9p.m) so they will be focused on the converstation.
That's serious advice, girls love their t.v. One girl told me she had to be home by 12:00pm, I asked why and she said she had to watch the Hills, that was our second date!!
I agree with most advice given already, a day or two out, leaning toward two... you don't need to play mind games on the other person or on yourself... but something to think about is that you need a balance of showing interest (im interested and willing to chase you) but not needy (im not a creep with no life and not a pushover)...
You want to be chased too right? So its give and take. You should not be at the other persons beck and call, as that would make you their maid/butler. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy the excitement that comes with pursuing a new relationship.
Confidence is attractive, whether you are a guy or girl. So feel free to call, make plans, make the first move.
And as long as were talking about the phone, I'm of an opinion that its better to get together in person than to spend hours and hours on the phone... but that's partly cause I'm just not a chatty phone guy. I use the phone to make contact, talk some, but I wouldn't spend tons of time chatting it up over the phone... id rather have that person in front of me so I can see her, read her body language, and make a more personal connection. But that's just me. Different strokes for different folks.
Great info all thanks... Since she called me yesterday and it was the first time... I actually have a buisy day today I was just thinking about calling her and asking her out tomorrow rather then sitting on the phone for a hour or 2 like lasti night just want to call her talk a bit and invite her out 2morow... How does this sound?
Too much?? Or good to go?
Well, one add is if you want plans for the weekend, asking sooner than later is best.
Some have posted here unhappy when a guy wouldn't call until fri for a fri night or sat get together... their opinion was if something better came along sooner, too bad.
Don't fret or worry too much about this. Just don't go overboard either way... not in her face all the time, not playing hard to get so much that its just head games.
You to old for games... showing interest without being needy is my goal..Quote:
