    Kitchen faucet problems
When I turn the kitchen faucet on half way or more it makes a loud sound
Faucet: Glacierbay double handles. It has a plastic seperator at the junction

Could you explain this any better? "it has a plastic seperator at the junction"

The plastic separator is a notched cylindrical piece and is located at the assembly at the base of the spout which has a threaded cover, the water, when the faucet is turned on, both hot and cold combine in this area before entering the spout.

I'm not sure but maybe you are describing a cartridge, is it removeable?
