    Sewage Smell from kitchen sink
    Hi,
There are similar questions but not quite the same.
I live in a modular home.
When my washer drains the water bubbles in the left sink in the kitchen (it is a double sink),
It also smells like sewage. It doesn't occur in any other drains.
I was told it was because the water lays in the pipe and since I do laundry once a week the water gets stagnant and that why it smells.
Tried pouring bleach down the kitchen drains, no help.
Has anyone else had this problem?
    Thanks

You have a partial blockage in the drain line after the kitchen sink. The washer is pumping water into the drain line just a little faster than the partial blockage will let pass and the soap bubbles are backing up to the sink. Snake the sink drain.
