    Well water bang and loss
Hello, I have a deep well with a pressure tank in the basement. Sometimes when we are running the water and the pump kicks on we get a bang or we will be running the water and then the water will stop by itself ( run out ) and then anywhere between 5 seconds to a minute the pump will kick on and then we will get the water back. Again, sometimes the pump will run after all faucets are off , to fill the tank but will not shut off until I go shut off the breaker to the pump and wait and turn back on, which it usually does the bang. Any help ?

If the pump will not cut off, then the first place to look is the switch.
