    Triped and now very scared
    OK hi everyone I am 31 weeks pregnant and I was walking through the yard and triped in a hole I feel and landed on my hands and knees I went to the er and they said I dprung my ankle but the baby was moving so they did not try to get a heartbeat and now I am very nervous and scared that something is wrong how do I know if the baby is OK? I know she has been moving but I am very scared but I know that I iddnt not l;and on my stomach or hurt it but I am very scared

    It is perfectly normal to be concerned, but rest assured, baby is well protected from the occasional mishap. The best way you will know all is well is that baby is still moving about. If it gives you some peace of mind, ask your doctor or midwife about doing kick counts... there are a few ways to do them and they may prefer one over another. It can be reassuring. You might also ask about having a scan done for the peace of mind.
