    How to calculate number of protons in 196g of sulphate ions.

    This is a homework question for the homework board.
    .
    Use Google or textbook for the following :
    .
    First find out what the formula is of a sulphate ion.
    Than take the number of protons in each ion for each atom involved.
    Calculate the ion weight by adding the weight of all atoms involved.
    (You can shortcut this by searching for the ion weight)
    Convert that weight into the number of ions per gram.
    Multiply that number with 196, and you have your answer.
