I am 24 weeks pregnant and have been noticing a very think, stringy, mucus like vaginal discharge... has this happened to anyone else? I know its not my mucus plug because I am only 24 weeks pregnant

    ***EDIT***
It has no smell and it really does look like wet boogers, lol (gross!)

This may be nothing more than the increased discharge we get when we are pregnant. However, your description makes me wonder about whether it is the mucous plug. You should really contact your doctor to be sure of what this is.

That's true, but its not my mucus plug... does that only come out once? I have had this in several occasions... well this is the fourth time I see it:confused:

They can come out slowly piece by piece in some women. Have you brought this to the attention of your doctor before?

There may be the possibility of an infection also.

It may be nothing, but when pregnant it's always best to contact your provider for the best answers.
