I am renting and found out house is in preforclosure
I found my address on a preforclosure website. It shows that a notice of default was sent to the landlord. They are about 4 months behind on their payments. What are my options at this point? Should I pay the next months rent? Should I just not pay and save up to move into another place? What rights do I have?

From the legal standpoint, you owe them the rent if you are going to live there. The foreclosure status does not change your legal obligation, and if you don't pay the rent, they may still evict you. Now they may not, I understand some landlords who are just walking away let the renter freeload but they do not have to.

You basically don't have any rights sadly, if and when it does foreclosure, you will be given a notice to move by the new owners or the bank. Or tey may allow you to rent till they sell it.
