Does any on e have a diagram the I could find some where or get free tro wire up this furnace correctly some one before just rogged it up and it does noe shuy down once heat get to temperature. I have looked all over to tryt oget this hooked up right and I sure would appretiate your knowledge and help.

Sorry Bruce but that unit is way to old for a diagram to be available.
BTW what is the model number of the unit?

Most furnaces of that era are very simple.
Try to disconnect one of the thermostat wires off the gas valve and see if it shuts down.
Next disconnect one wire off the thermostat wires at the wall where the thermostat is located.
Report back with your findings it could be as simple as a wire problem.

It might be luck,, and it might be fate,, if it was me I`d be afraid to go to sleep with that old a gas furnace burning in my house,, it might be just me, but would not trust the rest of my life to a 50 + year old gas furnace,, might just wake up dead one morning
