I want to remove the shower pipe from the wall, but it doesn't seem to be moving. How can I take it off?

Assuming you want to remove the shower arm with out scratching, remove the shower head. Insert a largest, longest screwdriver you have in the pipe and rotate the handle of the screwdriver in a circle. The screwdriver in effect makes the pipe longer and gives you more leverage.

The chrome shower arm's screwed into a drop eared ell, (see image) behind the tile. This is a brass to chrome connection so thyere'[s no rust. Follow Harolds instructions and don't forget to Teflon tape the threads when you put it back. Good luck, Tom
