My dear Allheart... seldom do we run across people with such a pure heart as yours.

Yours is a heart that portrays itself through actions... and when people do not understand your motives, that they are those of utmost sincerity, those same people can act out of carelessness and wound your precious heart.

I'm sorry your heart was wounded by this silly social worker. Remind yourself of how you touched the hearts and lives of the staff and patients in the hospital.. don't concern yourself with the pettiness and little jealousies of this woman. Maybe it is their policy not to accept gifts... but maybe you touched a chord in her heart that made her feel as if she should appreciate people more... you never know what hurts she could be dealing with.

My dear, sweet Allheart. Don't worry your heart over this. You were doing what you do best - bless people with your sincere kindness. :)

EDIT: don't worry - I'll take a page out of Synn's book and beat her with the happy stick - she can't hurt my girl! :D

Isn't it a saying "It's the thought that counts" ? Well though they couldn't accept the physical gifts, I am sure they received a gift none the less.

Also, I work at a hospital, and they may have different policies, but usually gifts can't be accepted... except perishables. So food is always a great gift :)

I'm not sure what happened my sweet Allheart, but we all know that you are the most caring, dear person around here. I love you for the kindness that you've shown me.

Others can see that great gift in you. You share it with everyone who needs a kind word. Don't let anything get you down. Your kindness is contagious! It helps others to stop dead in their tracks and think about how they treat other people. I know you have that effect on me!

Keep it up girl, we need you to remind us to be kind and patient, even though some of us run it off into the ditch sometimes. :)
