But if this is a high school relationship, then I would say he's a little jealous and also naturally going to try and act tough to your new boyfriend. I used to do it when I was in high school. It's a stupid game to play and no one wins

Be with your boyfriend and enjoy him, as it doesn't matter what the other guy thinks so don't let it confuse you, or distract you. Its his problem not yours. Your probably just curious, as to why he acts as he does, but don't let it confuse you. He is probably a little jealous. NOT YOUR PROBLEM, whatever it is, he'll get over it.

Don't mix jealousy and love together, they are not in the same category..
