    Pregnancy when not in heat
Can a cat get pregnant when not in heat?

    Username Here
The 'heat' cycle in a cat is every 10-14 days so chances are it could have gotten pregnant in the last heat cycle and now you're beginning to notice symptoms.

    Symptoms are:
    - Heat cycles cease
    - increased appetite
    - nipples swell and become rosier in colour.
    - vomiting
    - Abdominal Enlargement
    - Increased Affection
    - "nesting" - the cat will find quiet places to hide

    Hope this helps,
    Louis.

My cat was left outside the house with male cats around for a few hours... when we went outside her fur was everywhere
Am not sure if she's pregnant or not... she wasn't in heat when she went out
    Is it possible?

Check he rot see if she is injured. Sounds to me like she was fighting. Yes, males will fight females. YOur cat will not have intercurse unless shhe is in heat, so No I don't think she is pregnanat. But a cats can be in heat without showing all of the signs to us humans. I have taken in stay cats and when I take them to get them spayed they have been in heat eeventhough to me I did not see the signs, only the vet could tell.

Please get your female spayed, she will have a longer healther life if you do. Also she will not be tempted to mark your house and you will not have to put up with all the male visitors that will spray and fight over your cat. Not to mention the benefit for less cats being in our already over populated cat society.
