When I was about five years old and I was staying at my grandparents house I saw a dark shadow shaped like a young woman. That night I saw her twice. I am seventeen now and between then and now I have seen it countless times. I don't know who it is or what it is but I want to know because it is starting to scare me. Can anyone tell me what is going on. :confused:

How old is the house where this figure appeared? Is there a specific time that she appears? Is there any history in the house, i.e. anyone who died there? Any trauma of any kind that occurred there? Do you feel any temperature change when she appears? If you do, do you feel hot or cold? Are you wide awake or close to going to sleep when it appears? Has anyone else in your family mentioned any similar stories or said anything about this?

The temp does not change at all. The first time it appeared to me it was at my grandparents house in San Jose. They were the first people to live there and there were no deaths or traumas there. My grandparents have moved and they are the first to live in this house. The time she appears to me is when I am in bed. I'm not asleep. However she only comes through a closet with a normal door. Not sliding doors but a single door. Now if the door is closed she won't come through. The door has to be open and all the lights off

Spirits are not bound by buildings so she could have been there before the house was ever built. If she has not done anything to make you scared of her then she most likely will not do anything to scare you. I think if she meant harm she would have done something to scare you by now. Have you ever said anything to your grandparents about her?
You say your grandparents moved but you still see her?

Correct. She has not scared recently but the first two times I saw her I wouldn't stop screaming. I know it is the same "person" and she doesn't get very close. I have not said anything to my grandparents about it because they don't believe in spirits, I have mentioned it to my mom and she is the one who asked if I wanted to talk to a pastor or some one in this field of work. She doesn't seem like a threat. I don't want her to go away without knowing why she came to me in the first place. And why stay with me since I was 5? As for her being there before the house was built... she first came to me in San Jose and now my grandparents live in Patterson Cali. She doesn't seem like she is there to hurt me. She comes out of the closet and get maybe... 10-15 feet away and then stops and stands there.
