    Taxes in 2 states
    Hi,

I moved form Kansas to Washington halfway through the year. Washington does not have a state income tax and I did not make enough money in Kansas to be required to file for a state tax there. So, on my 1040 do I account for all of my income on both w-2s even though I am not filing in the state on Kansas? Thanks!

Your 1040 is independent of whatever state income tax forms you file. So yes - include your income from both of your W2's on your 1040, and be sure to attach a copy of each to your return.
