I am trying to remember the name of a movie about a grandpa and his grandson. The grandpa has just gotten out of jail after like 60 years for something or other. The grandson is intrigued by this and wants to help him out and they spend a bunch of time together trying to get back the car his grandpa had before he went to prison. He grandson's dad is a cop and doesn't like this. When his grandpa got arrested, he was with his girlfriend (wife) and she got shot and died in the backseat. His son grew up with family friends that turned out to be the people that set up his grandpa. That's all I can really remember..

The grandpa in the film kind of looks like burt reynolds, but its not him.
