    Shower Faucet Removal
I am demoing my small bathroom. But I have been unable to get the little buttons over the screws holding the handles on, off. What can I do to pop these buttons off?? Bathroom is about 20 years old and I don't think these handles have ever been removed. Please help?

Simply take a knife and slip it under the button and pry it out. You will find screws holding the knobs, remove them and pull the knobs off. If they won't come off then purchase a handle puller,(see image) at your local plumbing supply house. Need more help? We're as close as a click, Tom

Knife should do it... but if buttons are stubborn just set a small flat screwdriver just at button edge and then hit lightly with a pliers or small hammer and knock them out!

    Just another idea... Mark

Be careful trying to remove the little knob. I tried prying it off with pliers and broke the cartridge! Pain, but an easy fix.
