1990 Honda Civic 1.5 Cranks but won't start
CEL goes out as it should after 2 seconds and it is getting fuel but no spark. Here's what I have tried.
New Main Relay
New Coil
New ECM
New dist.cap
There is 12 volts present at the 2 wire connection on the dist.but the engine just spins. This all started the other day when I was having problems with the car starting on warm days after sitting for several hours but after about 5 minutes of trying it would start and run fine. In the morning when it was cool it started just great and also on cold days. I decided to change the main relay and this did not help. I bought a new rotor button and a distributor cap because I found a crack in the old one. When I tried the rotor button on the dist. shaft it was loose so I left the old one in and replaced the Dist. cap. I then started the car and it ran fine till I cut it off. When I went to start it the next morning it would not start and this is where I have gotten stumped. Help!!
P.S. I checked the timing belt and timing and all looks good.
