Are they collecting any type of SSD?

Often there are no direct grants, but grants given to varoius non profit groups that help. If they are a veteran they can check with the VA, also check with local community action groups, senior groups ( if of that age)
Also check out with the local groups that assist with a specific disablity.

I agree Fr_Chuck I was trying to figure out what type of disability grants to figure out the right direction to go with this. I am sure there are various organizations that have help available depending on what they intend to do.
