Installing a microwave oven dange hood
I am about to replace my old range hood with a microwave oven range hood.
After removing the old hood anything to it besides wiring and installing the microwave hood in the place of the old hood?

    Thanks for your help, Tim

They usually come with a drill Template for Top and Wall, it also will give location for the Cord to go through(top), and will usually plug into a receptacle in the cabinet above.

So, it should not be a problem or too complicated I guess.
    Thanks

No, it is actually quite easy, however, depending on the model it may require a two person lift.

No problem other that the fact that pretty much every micro hood I have seen has required a dedicated circuit. Your old hood was most likely on a 15A lighting circuit.

Also the fact that every time I have seen them directly replace a standard hood they are WAY too low to the stove top.
