What is the difference between oil burner 'intermittent ignition' and 'interrupted ignition' ?
Intermittent duty ignition systems are on the entire time the burner is firing. Interrupted duty ignition systems are energized until the main flame is stable and then de-energized. See UL 296 for actual definition.
