Open unit up and remove 1 wire from the element and test for continuity with a mulimeter. If none, element is bad. You can also remove element and visually inspect it. Check to make sure you have 22V coming to the unit. Also if the exhaust is clogged with lint the dryer will not heat or have low heat with long dry times

The heater element is protected by a thermostat against overheating.
Some dryers have an electronic circuit controlling the on/off duty cycle to reduce energy consumption.
So either the heater element, the electronic controller (if present), or the thermostat may be faulty.
Note that it is extremely important to clean the dust filter after each dryer run.
Both to protect the heater from overheating and to reduce energy consumption.
Note that it is essential to remove the power lead from the wall socket and put the cable on the floor in front of you BEFORE servicing the appliance : safety first!
    Success!
