    Obtaining a German passport
Both my mother AND father were born in Germany. (1919 and 1905). They are both deceased, but I have their passport from when they were forced to come here to the US during WWII. I also have a set of my Father's PARENT'S passport in German! I was born here in New York. Would I be eligible for obtaining a second passport from Germany? How would I go about this?

Start checking this with the German representative in the US. There should be an Embassy and a NY consulate. They should know what is possible, and what way to follow.
Do you intend to apply also for German nationality? Dual nationality is normally only possible for persons born German, but living elsewhere who never have applied for another citizenship.

    Success!
