    Kenmore 90 Series Washer Won't Spin/Aggitate
My washer fills up with water and then make a loud pounding/clicking type sound when it supposed to aggitate. It drains and makes the same sound during the rinse cycle. When it get to the spin cyle, it continues the sound, but stills drains and completes the cycle in the normal amount of time. I have had the machine for about 2 years, but it was handed down to me from a ower that purchased it new in '94. Never had any problems until about a week ago.

You say that the drum does not move at all, right?
The clicking sound may be the sparks because the problem is with the motor.
As it is an older type most probably it's caused by a shorted capacitor.
Have a specialist look at it.
Or do you want me to give you advice how to check and repair that yourself?
Do you have a multimeter. Or can you borrow that from a friend?
Contact me by clicking my handle and contact me directly...

I gave my advice for everyone to see. If people like more advice they should ask me. I'm not going to review every question again. So people should warn me privately. But with pleasure I reply here in the original topic !
That warning makes my life a lot easier and is less time consuming...
I already spend too much time here... :D
    Says my lovely wife... :D
    Right she is... :D
