Well, I always end up on this site writing about my concerns because the internet never seems to help me with any good information.
I am a female who is getting ready to divorce her husband he pretty much ruined my life and left me homeless broke, poor and with out a job.
I'm back in my home town and trying to start over but it has not been easy.
When we got engaged he got me an engagement ring and I got him a $790 dllr wedding band this was all through the store credit of course.
So up until now he has his wedding band up where he lives and I have my ring.
The problem is that I'm so broke that I really don't want that pointless pymnt! How should I go about this? Keep in mind I had a restraining order against him and we have no contact. Thank you any advice will help

Step 1 : start going to a jeweller for an evalution of your ring. Is it even worth the hassle to sell it?
Step 2 : if so, write your husband (registered mail) that you want to exchange the ring against the band, and warn him that there is a deadline. Mention that deadline (2 weeks, 1 months... ) After that date you can do whatever you want with the ring.
