    Router won't work
Belkin (router) said "ask ISP provider(tiscali) to do a whoosh (sic) test" which I did.
Their response does not mention "whoosh".
Can somebody tell me what such a test might reveal please ?

Whoosh Test - The IP provider conducts this test to make sure that your telephone line has a signal loss of less than 45dB between the master socket and the telephone exchange.
Just a test to check if your router gets enough signal. They send you a signal that the router returns to them, so that they can see if everything functions properly.
    ;)

Thank you. So this I assume is the "line test" that brit telecom AND tiscali have previously done and advised as OK. Would you have a suggestion as to why the belkin wireless
Router adsl connection just will not happen.
